northernlights and rainbows

i had some things to write about for the last few days but just havent gotten around to it till today. but i first had to check out everybodys posts, and i seen karens (the first part) and this is my very TRUE story. a few years ago i was working at mac island in the hockey concession for all the little hockey boys and their parents. every so often a few oriential (i hope thats the most politicaly correct term) couples would wander threw asking to go take pictures on the hockey and curling ice. i just figured they were coming to see the wonderful fort mcmurray (cough cough). but after a friend was talkign to them he discovered that "they" believe that if you concieve a child under the northernlights that child will be brilliant... call me crazy but i dont believe fort mcmurray and brilliant go together, well people wise anyways. i thought man could you imagine mid october-november doin it outside on a blanket, brrrrrrrrrr!!! but then about a year and a half ago at the liquor store two oriential couples came in and they spoke very little english and they were trying to find something to drink. they took for ever looking around and i seen one of the girls hit "her man" and told him to "make sure he didnt get to drunk". i guess she wants a smart little baby and you cant get one if "he" passes out on you!!! ok story two... yesterday matt and i had to go to the airport to send something to his mom. so coming back to town we seen this beautiful rainbow, and it was so bright and we could see the full rainbow and then there was a larger one on top of it but we could only see part of it and it wasnt as near as bright. but as we were coming down beacon hill it looked like the end of the rainbow was on the road, and usually when you think your going to "catch it" it always moves farther away, but this one didnt as we got closer it started to go away and it was like we were driving through the rainbow... matt asked where the pot of gold was but i told him the leprechaun has the new visa check card and no longer keeps it in the pot (please tell me you guys know this comercial)... story three... i woke up today dying for peanu tbutter toast and milk. so i came out to the kitchen, cut the bread, toasted it, got the milk, sat and began to eat. the toast was so dry but thats ok i had milk... for the first time in my life i drank sour milk, blah... so then i thought k ill have pop... pop was flat... so to recap toast dry, milk bad, pop flat...grrrrrrrrrrrr...

Ahhhh muffin. Was the milk out of date. I am wicked over dates. Don't matter if it's bad or not, on that day, out it goes. Same with bread. Pretty funny, some of the stuff in my fridge is a lot older than a day, but once I realize it goes to. I'm the biggest food waster I know.

I extra liked your post today.
I think that it's really gross that people come here to conceive a child. ewwww. And to hear them talk about it. double ewww. Then to actually see them... eww eww eww. And probably 80% of the kids walking around today were conceived under the northern lights. Somehow. There. The theory of brilliant kids is out the window. (But whoever thought of that little story- great marketing!) And I think they use the term "Asian" now. What-eeva. It'll be different next year anyway.
And you saw a double rainbow? That's got to be good luck. I suppose you didn't have your camera. You must carry that where ever you go from now on. I have no idea what commercial you're talking about.
And sour milk, aww. That's so nasty. I can taste it just thinking about it. Yuk.

Sorry for typing so much. I don't know why I'm so yappy/typey. Luckily I didn't type it in Pig Latin like I originally planned.)
